« Donne-moi la boule s'il-te-plaît, je veux la regarder de plus près. »
Tommy donna la boule à neige à son compagnon. Tandis que les collègues de classe criaient le décompte de la Nouvelle Année, Kae secoua la sphère. La petite boule de cristal commença doucement à jouer sa chanson, une berceuse robotique et ils commencèrent à tomber dans les bras de Morphée.
Not paying attention to what his friend was saying, Tommy opened the box carefully. Inside was a glass ball with Christmas decoration, a snow globe.
« Give me the ball please, I want to look at it more closely. »
Tommy gave the snow globe to his companion. As their classmates were chanting the countdown of the New Year, Kae shook the globe.
The little crystal ball slowly started to play its song, a robotic lullaby and they fell asleep.

喔喔！還蠻大顆的！凱你看，你看過這個東西嗎？ 湯米興奮的問

湯米與凱仔細端詳這顆水晶球，水晶球裡面有許多如雪花飄逸的白色物體。他們露出驚奇的眼神。此時，天花板下的同學們正在倒數，新年的到來使他們愉快，同時心裡也正想著天花板上的兩個人。三、二，一、零，新年快樂！伴隨著歡呼與掌聲，而這些聲音，湯米與凱都沒聽到。
當他們陷入沈睡的同時，小水晶球緩緩的開始播放音樂，一首機械般的搖籃曲。凱不記得自己曾經有搖晃甚至是觸碰過他。
