Tommy escalada cette échelle avec précaution. Une fois au sommet, il ouvrit la petite trappe dans le plafond et fit un geste de la main signalant à Kae de le rejoindre. Il finit par monter avec Tommy tout en regardant leurs amis admiratifs. Ils commencèrent alors à regarder autour d’eux dans cette nouvelle pièce, faiblement éclairée. Alors qu’ils marchaient, Tommy et Kae virent sur le sol, une petite boîte bien emballée.
« C'est peut-être quelque chose de très spécial.” souligna Kae.
- Kae, la boîte se met à trembler !” s’exclama l'ami.
- Non, non Tommy, nous ferions mieux de partir d’ici, c'est un mauvais présage ! Ce n’est pas normal et tout le monde nous attend pour célébrer le nouvel an ! Il est déjà 23h58 ! » dit Kae, en regardant sa montre.

找來了一架遙晃的梯子，湯米似乎很滿意。他爬上了梯子，把天花板的隔層推開。幾位同學扶著不穩的梯子，凱也爬上了天花板。底下的同學們仰著頭，似乎忘了跨年這件事。
湯米和凱用手機的手電筒，免強照著前方的地板。霉味很重，凱打了一個噴嚏。彎曲著身體，凱說：
我沒想過天花板上長這個樣子誒。
湯米小心的往前走，凱緊緊跟在後。
出現了一個箱子，手電筒照著箱子，發現它被膠帶緊緊封住。
這啥啊？凱盯著箱子問
我也不知道，拿起來滿輕的。而且封的這麼密，讓人更想打開來看呢。湯米回答
不好吧...我們不是來找剛剛發出聲音的東西嗎？跟這箱子應該沒啥關係吧....先下樓啦... 凱說
誒？誒誒！這箱子在動誒！到底什麼在裡面！ 湯米大聲說
什麼！真的假的！快跑！快跑啦！太危險了！而且也快要到倒數新年的時候了！凱驚嚇的說
哈哈 你也太膽小了吧？這麼有趣的箱子就是要給它弄個明白啊！快來，你來幫我。 湯米說
凱不敢靠過去，湯米只好一個人嘗試把箱子打開。
